In an industry where the narratives and experiences of mothers are often overlooked, We Are The Unheard is proud to introduce the UK’s first songwriting camp specifically designed for mothers in partnership with Girl Grind UK. This unique initiative funded by The Ivor’s Academy Trust and sponsored by Levi’s aims to empower mother songwriters and producers with an inclusive environment that celebrates their voices and stories.

The songwriting camp will offer collaborative songwriting opportunities, enabling participants to hone their craft while connecting with like-minded individuals. By fostering a supportive community, we aim to address the challenges that mothers face within the music industry, ensuring their creativity and career is nurtured and valued.

Participants will engage with other industry professional mums who understand the complex relationships between motherhood, creativity. and career. Attendees will leave with not only new skills but also original material they can proudly showcase.
