We Are The Unheard Founder Eve Horne is on an unstoppable mission for Equality and Equity in the music industry and is a fierce campaigner for all minorities!

After becoming a mother, Eve’s fight became even stronger! The battle for a woman who has a child comes from all angles. Clinging onto your identity whilst holding on to a career that is often threatened because of the lack of regulation and misogynistic and outdated mindset of the industry as a whole.

During lockdown, after having to refund all of the songwriters on her sold out camp in Italy, Eve was introduced to Mary, Co-Founder of Mamas In Music. Having daughters the same age, they shared likeminded vision of creating a songwriting camp for mums. During that same time, Mary met the unconquerable Namywa from Girl Grind UK CIC on a Mothers in Music panel for PRSF. They quickly realised they also shared the same vision for creating a songwriting camp for mothers.

Excited to drive the vision forward and with the universe aligning them all, Eve rejoined in the early stages of the conversation and together three powerhouses who had been carving out the same dream created Mother's Write!

A songwriting camp for emerging mother talent wrapped up in a campaign knocking on the doors of the music industry, advocating for great change in the way Mother's are seen, represented and treated in this business. We are proudly funded by PRS Foundation with endorsement and sponsorship from Levi's, Shure, Neumann and Qube East.

All three bring the drive, passion and dedication to make positive change for mothers and to-be mothers in the music industry so that they can feel confident in deciding to have a family and also KEEP their career!!

THE SONGWRITING CAMP

What's equality without equity?! Research has told us that the best way to empower both established and emerging mother's in music is to empower them financially in order to keep mums in the music industry at all levels.

Mother's Write is starting with songwriters, our 3 day songwriting camp aims to enable and support established and emerging mum-songwriters with opportunities, networking and resources to make high quality music in alignment for release and sync.

Backed by SHURE, NEUMANN & QUBE East studios the camp will run from Tuesday 17th until Thursday 19th October.
